Overview of Bull Arabs
The Bull Arab is an Australian dog breed that is bred primarily as a "bay dog" for wild boar hunting. They are generally a loyal dog, with a great temperament. They were bred with the need to create a dog with enough size to stop large boars but with enough speed and stamina to outlast many of the other heavier mastiffs. The breed "bull arab" is falsely used by many breeders because it isn't a specific breed. Which means that there are many bull arabs out there that have other breeds in the mix, including anything from cattledog to pit bulls.
History
The Bull Arab was developed in the early 1980s, and is a cross between a Bull Terrier, Greyhound, and Pointer.
